so i got the splatoon costumes code from preordering. so i used it for my wiiu version. but i want it on 3ds also but it seems like i cant get another for my 3ds. HELP!

From what I can find, the preorder code was only for Wii U. If you want the Splatoon outfits on 3DS, you'll have to buy them.

Did it give you a reason that you couldn't? Did you definitely select the 3DS version of the DLC?
