Topic: Hardware issue

I was using my switch last night and out the blue, a bunch of colorful horizontal lines started to bleed through the screen, like the LCD just decided it didn't wanna live anymore. If I turn it off and on again they go away, but will quickly begin to fade back into place upon doing so.
This thing is toast, isn't it...

@Player_One I've had for a couple years so I wanna say no? How much is it to send it for repairs?

@Cubefreak53 The fact that it starts out ok, may mean heating up is part of the problem. As I think out loud here, I wonder if your Switch fan is working properly. We've seen some people here who've had to have the fan replaced by Nintendo.

Give Nintendo a call. I've used their line 4 times, and they've been great. Minimal menu tree on their phone tool.

So update..I was on the switch today to get some info off it before I sent it for repairs and it just magically went back to normal as I was using ...wtf?
Starting to think it was some kind of glitch.

@Cubefreak53 See if it happens again after using it for a couple more days. If it's a failing part, the problem will likely happen more.

Obviously, a temporary glitch would be nice. Lets see what happens.
