@CapnPancakez I really think this is (potentially) a good, and beneficial idea.
I first clicked on the link and went to the first page to see what it's about, but because of all the videos loading at the same time, it made my computer froze. This is one of the essential reasons why this lead to the demise of the "Favorite Video Game Music Track?" thread and some others.
I suggest that people post links to the video and/or paste an image of the game cover or cover of the game soundtrack. This will lead to less crashing, freezing, errors, loading, etc. And although people don't generally say these things, (since most music threads are pretty much dead so why say anything) you have to take into account for those with slow computers, different browsers, and more. We aren't able to do that so as I said before, post links and images (Youtube doesn't load every video off the start, so be realistic).

@CapnPancakez, as I said before:

We should have smaller, more themed based tournaments after this. Such as "Best Final Boss" "Best Credits" "Best Title Theme" etc.

I think it would be cool. Since we've already decided the absolute best so to speak.

Sorry, I meant to speak from personal experience. You see, I posted something there and it felt like a really long time since someone posted something there. (I also was thinking of putting downfall instead of demise)

Best credits or Best final boss themes contest would be cool.

I think that the idea of only nominating one song might work well for these smaller, themed tournaments, as it would encourage people to nominate what they think is the best song in the category. Only having one song per-person would also slim down the amount of entries we get and make these tournaments go faster.

I agree. Four choices is a bit much, then again I believe this tournament definitely started out with a lot more people involved than now it seems. Two entries each would work out I think. I mean, how quick do we want these tournaments to be? What's the rush? There's only so many themes we can try to do anyways.

Count me in. Dunno what TBD thinks about it though, since having many separate threads might clutter the forum.

Yeah, I thought about creating a seperate thread for the themed stuff, but I think doing it all on here would just be easier and might draw more people.

As for having two nominations each, I think that sounds great too. It really depends on how many people we can get and how many entries we want. This tournament had 64 entries but if we each nominate two songs it would probably be more like 32.

Best video game villain? I don't know..

I agree with everyone about the 1-2 nominations per person with youtube links only. Even with my decent laptop and fast internet speed, it was a bit much.

Crap, I missed the final! I would have voted for Another winter but the SMG credits theme is still a worthy winner.

@CapnPancakez Thanks for keeping this thread alive, its been a lot of fun voting in this tournament.

I would rather keep it at 4 nominations, I don't mind if it goes on for a while and even if it we did all nominate 4 tracks, there aren't as many people voting in the tournament as there were when it started so there still wouldn't be as many nominations but if everyone else would prefer 2 nominations per person, I don't mind.

Best boss theme? I'd like to see that.

Or maybe it could be best battle theme so that it includes regular battle themes too or we could do those separately. Best opening theme is another idea I thought of. Also, I think the new themed tournaments should be in a new thread, that way newcomers wouldn't get confused by the title.
