Topic: Idea: Nintendo should make a digital collectable/trading card game for mobile

And before someone mentions it, I'm not talking about the mobile Pokemon trading card game.

Rather I think Nintendo should leverage the popularity of mobile and tablet games to create a digital "Nintendo trading card game". Fill the game with characters from their franchises, and update the game with cards that are based on their recent and upcoming titles. This game could be completely free (they are leveraging it for advertising, making people pay could hurt that goal), and by playing repeatedly, the game could allow the players to use in-game currency to purchase small discounts on Nintendo software and hardware. Even better, if you like your Club Nintendo account, the mobile game could actually give you additional bonuses (like new cards or more in-game currency) when you purchase and register a Nintendo product.

I think such a game could be wildly successful for Nintendo if done right, and wouldn't intrude on their main franchises on their own hardware.
