Hello
I have recently got into touch screen games on my D's. I'm trying Pokémon link and Layton but wondered if anyone else had good touch screen only games for theDS!

Thanks

Peace-Boy

Ghost Trick. Easily 10/10 game.

Also, Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors is a game that doesn’t focus on the touch screen if I remember correctly, but it uses the dual screen aspect and is very good.

Viva Piñata, it's an extremely faithful adaptation of the original xbox 360 game with streamlined gameplay.

There's also other obvious options like Zelda, Nintendogs, Animal Crossing, Brain Age, and Wario Ware.

Yeah I don’t know either.

Rhythm Heaven, Bomberman Land Touch, Warioware DIY, Cooking Mama

Still waiting for Atlus to make Snowboard Kids 3

Morpheel

Oh right, how could I forget Rhythm Heaven?

Harvest Moon Island of Happiness and Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands are also completely touch compatible. With the former having no option to use the dpad to move at all.

Mario & DK Miniland Mayhem is also full touch.

Yeah I don’t know either.

Dragon Quest IX is another game that lets you play the whole thing using either the stylus or buttons/D Pad, whichever you prefer.

Elite Beat Agents, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan are some of my personal favorites that are touch screen only. The controls are intuitive and the inputs feel responsive, arguably the best rhythm games on the system.

Trauma Center: Under the Knife (also available on the Wii) and its sequel Under the Knife 2 are fairly challenging, touch screen games that requires precision and time efficiency to get the best score out of every zany operation.

Knights in the Nightmare is a unique strategy game that is mostly touch screen only, has a big learning curve but it's definitely worth playing. Can be played on the PSP (with a few extra content) if the controls are not to your liking.

Not a lot of people liked Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, they may not be the best Zelda games but I still had a fun time with them and the touch screen controls hardly hampered my experience.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Days of Ruin are turn-based strategy games that can be played exclusively on the touch screen instead of using buttons. Both are respectable entries in the Advance Wars series and can easily provide hundreds of hours of content.

Sweet! Dragon quest nice! Tomodachi collection I'm assuming is related to tomodachi life. Trauma centre was a great series. Seems like another world now with that series being a big game

One more needed for this, magical starsign
It's 100 percent touch screen and appears like a great RPG by 2nd party Nintendo company brownie brown!

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales on the DS. It's a deck-building RPG that also contains a lot of minigames which are used to advance the story and unlock new cards, and all the minigames are built around touch control (and the microphone for a couple of them). I don't think I've ever seen/heard anyone talk about this game but it's pretty good fun; it's clearly aimed at kids so it's a little simplistic but there's a decent amount of strategy to the card battles, and getting high enough scores on the minigames to unlock all the cards is actually quite challenging. I'd recommend it if you're interested in playing a card-based RPG crossed with a minigame collection, set in the Final Fantasy universe (and who wouldn't be?)
(By the way, @Anti-Matter have you played this game? It seems right up your street)

Isn't Anti-Matter the one who has a strong dislike for popular franchises?

@Dogorilla I played it as a kid and enjoyed it. I worry about my ability to enjoy it now as an adult
