Isn't it great that this replaced Club Nintendo?
Definitely getting Zelda theme!
And which Mario tennis is this?
Gbc hmm might get that as I’ve never played it
lies lies lies
@sandman89 Gameboy colour Mario Tennis. The above isn't clear in that respect.
Getting Pikmin theme, it's pretty sweet.
The Nintendogs theme is the only one I need. I never tire of seeing that adorable golden retriever puppy 😍
Pikmin theme were on Rewards earlier. Got it back then.
Getting this Zelda theme as it's new i think.
@Steel76 Yeah I still don't get why themes haven't been brought to Switch yet. Did take them a while to come out on 3DS so maybe they'll arrive eventually.
@sandman89 The GBC Mario Tennis is pretty cool, it has some light RPG elements where you can choose what abilities you want to improve each time you level up. You can also wander around and talk to people between matches and there's some unique tennis mini games. I'd recommend it.
Just themes for me this time but the rewards are running pretty dry now.
@BongoBongo @wazlon thanks 😊
@mesome713 I’ve already got that one. It’s one of my favourites. Shame the switch doesn’t have any 😫
Damn, I forgot this was even a thing, however it’s not like I play many games on my phone with it’s battery life. Now I know why whenever I check the 3DS eShop it’s so bare in good sales for Nintendo games. You would think they would flog as many games as possible with the Switch making it so irrelevant, because I’m sure that if these sales were actually on the eShop and not locked behind some silly currency I would have been tempted to buy them.
Man, I really want that Zelda theme. God damn it... If only I could find 70 platinum points! That will serve me right for ignoring Nintendo survey's following Switch eshop purchases.
There always seems to be a misconception with people regarding "New" My Nintendo 3DS themes. If they say "New" on the My Nintendo website, they are new to the My Nintendo service, not a new theme. All of the "New" themes they release are themes that you can purchase with real money, but are now available for free using My Nintendo Points.
I just thought I'd bring this up as people keep stating that themes such as the Mario Odyssey theme were released recently, which in fact they were not. I'm pretty sure the latest new 3DS theme was released well over a year or two ago.
Oh these seem fun! Definitely getting them! Already have mario tennis, it's definitely a recommendation!
@Abeedo : I'm still kicking myself for not spending all of my coins on Kirby dream blankets. I have one, but I can't bear to use it as I can't replace it.
For those on the fence about GBC Mario Tennis;
I'd put hundreds of hours into that game as a kid. To me it has aged well. It has SOOO much attention to detail and love put into it. MUCH more than recent Mario Tennis games.
They quite literally crammed as much data as they could in this game. A huge cast of playable characters, Minigames, and an overworld RPG system that is VERY replayable. MUCH depth to the RPG; and memorable characters. Full of hidden easter eggs and side quests. I honestly think it's a crime how this game doesn't get the accolades it should have, or at least another entry into the RPG series (the GBA Tennis had the last RPG sequel).
Dont want Themes for my 3DS, I want them for my Switch, thanks Nintendo
