"First off, it is a one-time use, and very expensive to get multiple of, requiring 200 BP in the Battle Maison. Second, it only works on standard abilities. If you have a Pokémon with a Hidden Ability, the Ability Capsule will not work. The way the item works is that if the Pokémon has got two standard abilities, it will simply switch the ability to the other one. If the Pokémon only has one, say Charmander, the item shall not work due to Blaze being its only possible ability, but if you're using it on say a Bronzor, it will allow you to switch between Levitate and Heatproof."

@Wilian64 - yes the switch is permanent or until you use another capsule to switch back, but according to the site it will not let you use it to put on a hidden ability, hence the word "hidden" but what the site says and what the game will do? Who knows until Miamikid1 tries. That information may have been pre-update.
