@Anachronism You make a great deal of sense, even including some uncomfortable truths. As much as I'd like alot of games released for the NSO service, I definitely am familiar with the scourge that is choice paralysis. Here goes (most of this feedback applies to the other legacy systems that Nintendo emulates).
1. Release more games. There's no excuse for the drip drop release timing.
2. Add widescreen functionality.
3. Add the option to increase resolution.
4. Bring back Virtual Console.
