Re: Gallery: Take a Look at the Super Mario Happy Meal Toys Coming to the UK

Can confirm that the Fire Mario's fireballs are thin cardboard.

Apologies for the lacklustre images, didn't have a huge amount of time to take them. I was working after all...

Jumping Mario's block makes the coin sound, he also slides up from the floor to the block. There are also ? Block stickers for the block. Didn't notice them when photographing. Mario can be detached.

Yoshi is on pull-back wheels.

Mario Visor is somewhat small, even for Children. It would maybe fit around a 2L bottle of Coke.

Boomerang Mario's boomerang moves up and down, can be detached.

Peach, Luigi and Penguin Mario seemingly had no gimmicks. Peach is attached to her backdrop.

@VGScrapbook @Jahir The Community Rules state that "all posts should be made in English".

I guess as this site is entirely English-language it makes sense, sorry :/

I'd get the Assassin's Creed games on Wii U if we had guarantee of all the DLC, and the upcoming games... no point getting used to playing them on Wii U. May try Splinter Cell Blacklist but I'm not exactly starved of something to play right now so I probably won't bother.

If you don't own Rayman Legends and Child of Light though, this is your week.

Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2014 - Summer Edition

I'm super excited for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Fantasy Life, Persona Q, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and Super Smash Bros. but nowhere near excited as I am for the Ace Attorney trilogy. I played the first game on DS a few weeks ago but decided I'd wait for the 3DS remake of two and three rather than buying them pre-owned.

Everything I've mentioned is day one for me, with Sonic Boom coming if reviews are good.

Re: Review: Kirby: Triple Deluxe (3DS)

From what I can tell we have another NSMB2 on our hands.

The main game sounds solid and enjoyable, but doesn't do enough new things and the real draw of the game is the multiplayer side-game. In this case it's Kirby Fighters playing the Coin Rush of Triple Deluxe.

I can certainly see myself enjoying Kirby Fighters, unfortunately I'm incompetent when it comes to rhythm games so I doubt I'll be pouring plenty of play time into Dedede's Drum Dash.

Personally I'm absolutely fine with this. I don't overly care about innovation when it comes to platformers, I just want to enjoy myself. Yoshi's New Island was certainly a disappointment, let's hope Kirby: Triple Deluxe is better!

I'm almost done with the game, and sadly I feel like I can review the game in six words: A mediocre, lacklustre and boring platformer.

I'd say the 5/10 is pretty much correct, unfortunately.

Re: Review: Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (3DS)

After finishing this game a few weeks ago I have to say I loved it. As a fan of both the Professor Layton and Ace Attorney series, it felt like the perfect labour of love. The two gameplay styles connected wonderfully for me. I really hope we get a sequel.

The only disappointment I can imagine is that Sam Riegel isn't voicing Phoenix Wright. Whilst the guy voicing Phoenix is very good, it's a shame it's not the voice we got to know in Dual Destinies. To be honest, I think I actually prefer the different voice actor as Sam Riegel sounds a little too young for Phoenix, so it isn't an issue for me, but others may be disappointed.

As for North America, I really hope you get the game as soon as possible!
