@ThrowMeBarrel Hmmm... I don't know what you're talking about... I love Fire Emblem just as much as Langrisser... they're just DIFFERENT. They're not the same style of SRPG game and they don't try to be. If you don't like them, you don't have to buy them.

I just like that in Langrisser, there are actually multiple ways to get to a mutual goal something even Warsong could've used that it sadly lacked. Fortunately, Der Langrisser and the others all seem to have multiple ways to solve problems and get different outcomes much like Fire Emblem does now. They just tell it differently.

@bloodycelt So, despite this game looking silly, it's not as bad as they're saying? That's a relief... Although, I really wish if Extreme/Masaya REALLY wanted people to enjoy Langrisser for what it is, they should've at least tried a bit harder on the presentation here. The music is pretty good but the SD fighting scenes just seem... well, TOO over the top and NOT what the original series was about. It was a serious contender on the SRPG scene and this clearly acts like they're poking fun at themselves rather than taking themselves seriously.

Langrisser has ALWAYS been a fan favorite of mine, but after watching videos of this upcoming game in the series, I'm seriously wondering where their heads are at. Langrisser does not need 3D battles, knights riding f'n motorcycles (Yes, you sadly heard me right) or any of that silliness to remain relevant. That's NOT what the series was about. It was about EPIC story-telling, great long-lasting fights and yes, even that silly looking grid to keep everything nice and tidy. I'd PREFER that we get the games that we missed (Hell, even a RE-TRANSLATED version of Langrisser I would be NICE). Honestly, if Re:Incarnation isn't any better than what I've already seen in my horror, then why bother bringing it back at all? Seriously, who came up with that silliness?
