2014 is lhe year that wiiu has to turn things around . As soon as we start seing what metroid , zelda and starfox look in hd, we will know if Nintendo is able to generate interest ...dont take super mario 3d world as example cause as i said before , that is not a sucessor to Mario 64 or galáxy! Plus theres miyamotos new franchise , and lets not forget that sales have been improving during the last few weeks...
@Tritonus aonuma has stated that the addition of some realistic graphical effects in combination with the cartoon style made for a surreal new experience that they thought was worth releasing ...just complementing your points
@Turbo857 i thing 3d world will be a new series but we gonna get "120 stars" type of Mário also..tridimensional mario had always been about the fun of exploring a 3d space, mario galaxy has that in the form of espherical worlds ...3d world is about getting to the end of the stage like any other 2d Mario...its not about collecting stuff, neither Mario 64 was about that
Nintendo has made the transition to hd, and u guys think this is all they can make....when the true wiiu mario appears, u will all realize how small this game really is in comparisson to what Nintendo can and will make...they can make a Mario that will look like a pixar masterpiece...im telling u, this is nothing yet
I love this game, its great , but this is clearly NOT wiiu's great mario game...
The almost complete lack of intro , ending , gamepad function ...the many similarities with the "NEW" series , the graphical quality below what wiiu can make , all show that theres another epic mario in the making , one more in the vein of Mario 64 and galaxy
@TheRealThanos u got me wrong, 3d worldm is wonderfull...Burt it das more in commom with 2d marios then with 3d ones ...references being irrelevant ....its a descendant of smb 3, and not of mario 64, and its not a triple A mario game, as it doesnt represent wiius strengh in graphics andbarelly uses the gamepad, it also has almost no intro nor ending ...u can bet miyamoto is working in a gamepad heavy Mario platformer
I have and love 3d world but it is basically "new" Mario in a3d, just that
@gatorboi352 yeah, Nintendo is just 100plus years old...not a successful brand at all The wiiu will be pretty successful, one year from now we are gonna be having a very diferent conversation
@rjerj its not ....it is a very generic game that das a lot in comom with lhe "new" series ...it doesnt have the level of investment found in galaxy , i have been playing galaxy recently and the diference is huge ... 3d world is just another "new super mario " in 3d
We havent seen anything yet ...Nintendo is doing a lot oficial things that they arent showing us...wheres miyamoto first person game? Wheres starfox, metroid , the next true 3d mario , sucessor to galaxy ? People are just getting ahead with their conclusions ...they might be right , but it is too soon to tell
i think that we will only have a clear picture of whats to come once all the novelty of xbox1 and ps4 wears out...only them the consoles with the better value will stand out...we will have to wait and see
@Peach64 to release mario kart in a console like gamecube who had almost nothing atractive to it and was unkown to the general public, is not the same thing as to release mario kart in wiiu, wich is a console build upon a very successful brand who is widely know by casual players, namely "wii"
I like when they take the time they need...when a new zelda is released its like a big thing for me, becuase im a huge fan since the snes days, and i like it to keep being a big event like it is, and not something trivial (anyway theres always portable zelda to keep us entertained until the next big one)
@theadrock13 zelda titles usually come late in the consoles life...TP for the wii was an exception. N64 did not launch with ocarina of time (it was an extremely long wait, actually), neither snes with alttp
@AeroTech hehe you have lost the respect for miyamoto because he has made one game you didnt like? so, almost singlehandedly creating modern videogames as we know it was not that big of a deal, and all those masterpieces didnt count very much? hehe a slight overreaction, i would say
people consistently forget that nintendo, for some unknown reason, hasnt bothered to release WiiU Sports just yet (and didnt even bothered to promote the console very much) i have the feeling that nintendo is actually holding the wiiu back for some strategic reason,...maybe it is waiting until all the updates and offerings such as nintendo tvii are in place or maybe nintendo just wanted to let the insane expectations people had about ps4 and xbox1 pass...i dont know, i just think that people that think nintendo doesnt know what they are doing are naive

Theres no excuse, if they release it on wiiu, i will personally buy one million copies of this game.
