Scratching my head over some of these comments from people who haven't even played Doom on the Switch yet. I've been playing it undocked and it's been a blast. It looks great on the portable screen and I honestly haven't noticed any of these alleged frame rate drops.
People saying "That'll never happen!" and then proceeding to rattle off figures they put 10 seconds of thought into, versus actual industry analysts doing actual analysis as part of actual reports 😂
@SLIGEACH_EIRE lol you are both the best and worst thing about the comments on this site. You really don't think Nintendo has more planned for next year? And come on, there aren't any system sellers?
Nintendo has released two of the best reviewed games of all-time this year: Super Mario and Zelda. This is on top of Splatoon 2 (huge in Japan) and Mario Kart (no one cares that it's a Wii U port, as most of us don't actually own a Wii U). Skyrim, Doom, and Wolfenstein 2 are on the way. Again, no one actually cares that these are ports, because it means Skyrim, Doom, and Wolfenstein 2 on the go, which has never been done before.
I guess you keep being you, but my March investment in Nintendo has more than doubled and I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
Is not having Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc, such a big deal? I have or can have all of those apps on my phone, tablet, TV, and computer. You guys really don't already have one of those available to you at home or on the go?
I get there's an argument of convenience for convenience's sake, but that will also have its own downsides. I love the Switch because it's fast and focused on what a game console should be: games. I don't really want another bloated tablet.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE You literally complain about everything Switch-related. Even when Nintendo releases news that addresses those complaints... you still find a way to complain.
@ULTRA-64 lol wow. Just wow. That is quite literally the saddest thing I've read in a while.
If me commenting on how it is annoying that he is always posting negative comments and trying to bring others down makes me a bigot, I guess you're right... I'm definitely a bigot. Thanks for the lecture in tolerance from up on your high horse while you throw "bigot" around, I guess.
@shani This has nothing to do with democracy, and in many cases it's not even a discussion. Articles will merely be stating facts, like the Switch sold X number of units or Nintendo's stock is hitting a high--but there he is, ready to drop some negativity, no matter how irrelevant it might be.
Having an opinion and a discussion is great, but he is that guy at a party who is constantly trying to poop on everything.
@ULTRA-64 He gets "bullied" because he comes on Every. Single. Switch. post with negative comments. We get it. He doesn't like the Switch. That doesn't make it any less annoying.
Seriously, just go and check the articles covering positive milestones for the Switch and there he'll be with a negative comment along the lines of, "Yeah, but it's not this or it's not that" or "The Wii did it better".
How are people still discounting the fact that there's an issue with the joy-con? Oh, your Switch works fine, so there's no way there's anything wrong with the other 2+ million units! Or, "there's only like 500 units with problems, so it's not a big deal!" If it was just 500 units, you would never have heard about it in the first place.
The issue is real, and it's not down to setup, interference, magnetic waves, or whatever Nintendo is trying to explain it away with. It's a big deal, because do you know how annoying it is to want to play docked on your TV but you can't because the stupid controller keeps running you off cliffs?

Re: Golf Story Hits the Links in September, Exclusively on Switch
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Then why waste your time watching this and commenting? Do you seriously have nothing better to do?
I've made a game out of opening Switch-related articles and scrolling to the comments, because there you'll be, complaining about it again.
