To everyone who thinks it should be free: This is a third party company here. It costs money to advertise, it costs money to put the app on DSiWare. If they made this free they would lose money.
@Hardy83 I don't get your logic. The things you compare are totally different, whereas this "notebook" is just a virtual edition of a real world thing, with no specific advantages or enhancements. It's like the Flashlight app for iPod Touch: Why not buy a flashlight? And in this case, a real notebook can do more for less cash (say a notebook has 100 pages): Make paper airplanes, don't run out of battery, use multiple medium, give a piece to someone, etc.
Real shame that they couldn;t have just made a Wii port a year ago, or made a MW2 port to release alongside the other consoles. At least we know they can make a good Wii port
Oh great. This is going to turn into PSP/PS3 style ".01" system updates, isn't it. @Kenji510: But that will only matter when the Wii gets unified codes for games, or a real time chat program.
They ruined cheese rolling. REAL cheese rolling is not like bowling at all. In the sport, they roll a cheese wedge down a hill, and everyone runs after it. You can watch it here

Re: Mario Anniversary Screensaver and Pins Arrive at Club Nintendo
Hanafuda cards are still the best value, IMO. For anyone who has not got them yet and has the coins, I highly recommend them.
Re: Review: Hero of Sparta (DSiWare)
Actually, it's a port from the App Store, and is more than a year old. It's only $2, there.
Re: Review: Telegraph Sudoku & Kakuro (DSiWare)
Sudoku and kakuro, for $2? Glad I didn't buy any other sudoku games.
Re: Review: Photo Dojo (DSiWare)
Just announced, this will be free from May 10 to June 10 on NA DSiWare. Can't wait.
Re: Review: AlphaBounce (DSiWare)
The craziness of powerups kinda ruined it for me, but it's still the best Arkanoid clone out there, and certainly the best for $5.
