I'm really confused. I can't get the axe in the game. I've brought tons of fish, and plants, and bugs to Tom, but he won't give me the recipe. Also, Timmy does not have the axe to sell and the Nook shop doesn't have it either! I've heard that if someone else played, you can't unlock it, which would be a huge design mistake. And, it can't be bought, so there is a bug.
