@FullMetalWesker If you grew up in the 80s and 90s with the Nintendo Power magazines, I feel like you'd feel the same way. Maybe not? As a new gamer during that period and an amateur artist, these drawings were some of my absolute favorite parts of the magazine. I remember when they ran a "design your own Mega Man character" contest. I spent literally tens of hours coming up with original concepts and it sparked a love of illustration that still lingers with me almost 30 years later. To people like us, these are national treasures.
@Potimarron These are some of the most enjoyable games I've ever played (I still listen to the soundtrack from the first two games, decades later). If you haven't played them, I would recommend picking up the older titles first, but I personally find them to be pure gaming goodness.
Got my break an hour late at work. Target was sold out, Best Buy line was infinitely long but Walmart worked. Hoping they don't cancel! I'm still not sure if I qualify for Nintendo's direct preorder so at least this gives me hope. I picked up 2 Pro Controllers too as I usually can't play with Joy-Cons on the TV well. Good luck everyone!
@Agent_P I didn't have many frisbees, but I had several hundred AOL Floppy Disks . The best thing was that you could request an unlimited number of them basically back then, and then after using the trial you could just format the floppy and use it for saving random files lol.
@Not_Soos A lot. I got my first computer in 1996 and I was on that thing constantly using the internet. Since it was well before smart phones, it was the computer or nothing basically for the net.
@MontyCircus Well, with this type of deal I’m thinking you could combine the two honestly. Use the gift cards to purchase the vouchers. Win-Win (if you’re buying digital of course).
@Jeronan I seriously doubt it. It's obviously using the same engine or at least an enhanced version of it, so my guess is 2021 at the latest. Fans are already calling it "Death of the Wild" haha.
@Preposterous I am so psyched! How anyone doesn't appreciate Yokai Watch is beyond me. The first game was good enough but the second and third games expanded the universe so much. This is a dream come true. I think I'll buy the US version of #3 and the Japanese version of #4 and sell it if they ever translate it.
