I love Nintendo and the Wii U, but this ad is embarrassingly bad, and it doesn't even have the redeeming quality of humor. I can't even imagine who would be influenced by this ad. At best the ad might promote a slightly more positive view of the e-shop. Nobody is going to buy a Wii U because of e-shop, and e-shop will never be great until it has more content. Nintendo should focus all of their marketing on showcasing exclusive titles, and secondarily on demonstrating how the gamepad can enhance gameplay.
