@Chunkboi79 To be fair, I really don't mind that developers are taking their own spin on already existing formulas. But there's definitely a difference between doing that and then making an almost identical copy. This is without a doubt the latter. So overall this has nothing to do with gatekeeping.
Inb4 Nintendo takes this down.

Wait, what? You're telling me that this is not a fangame?
Seriously though, some of these shots looks almost identical to Metroid Dread. Several of the abilities has even been copied. So overall, this seems to be nothing but a rip off.
Assuming it'll release on Switch (if it even comes that far), I probably won't pick it up. I'd rather go back to Metroid Dread for another playthrough, even though my backlog is way too big.
Since this is all about the artwork, and not the games themselves, I went with Street Fighter II: The World Warrior on the SNES. Easily the best of the bunch imo.
This is of course wishful thinking, but if this is really happening, I'd hope to see a Castlevania DS Collection as well, featuring Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia.
As a long time fan of Ori and the Blind Forest, and the fact that a Switch release has been rumoured for a while, I would definitely want an Ori amiibo.

YES! Wanted to play these games for years!

Re: Nintendo Still Working On Bringing Game Boy Advance Titles To 3DS Virtual Console, Says Natsume
Finally! I'm looking forward to Metroid Zero Mission, Metroid Fusion and the Super Mario Advance series.
