Long term Xbox player here, joined Switch when the Lite came out. Definitely agree with the statement, additive. I’m not playing any less Xbox (possibly more) but I am gaming more. Love the Switch, do pickup and play around the house more than expected and its perfect for when charging my iPace 😎. A long haul flight with Ori made me realise what genius that game is (I didn’t originally get into it on the xbox as more an fps player) to the point I am now also replaying it on xbox/pc. Big holiday coming up so looking forward to The Witcher III on the Switch, probably my favourite game on the Xbox One and after the Netflix series can’t wait to play it on the move.
Only issue is that a lot of the games I’d like to replay on mobile are still too expensive for a second purchase. Quite enjoying Zelda though not massively my thing but certainly some nintendo exclusives I’m now interested in (Like Astral chain).
I’d chalk it down to a win win for gaming. I’d say the same for Xbox game pass as thats now got me back into PC gaming to the benefit of Steam too (which is where I started and indirectly how I got into the technology career that pays for all the tech).
