That beta test was literally the first time we showcased the game externally, and it featured random assortment of early and late-game missions. Thanks to your feedback, we made a lot of work to smooth out the difficulty curve and improve player on-boarding (tutorials, UI, etc).
On top of that, we also have some accessibility options now, like extended evasion window, reduced damage, etc.
