@Kidfunkadelic83 Personally I'm not a huge fan of roguelikes, but Hades totally captivated me. Yes, there's still the 'die and learn from your mistakes' type of gameplay, but while you're playing and dying (a lot) you'll also progress the story. Which turned it into a totally different kind of roguelike for me. The gameplay loops in Hades are just so well thought out and they actually make dying kind of fun instead of frustrating. A typical run also won't be hours long. I can't recommend it enough!
I've been holding out for this Switch version! Will be picking it up coming week. Just love Supergiant and their creative outlook on videogames. Especially the art direction and overall game feel. Hyped!
