Re: Hori Reveals The Split Pad Fit For Nintendo Switch, Pre-Orders Now Live

Twisted_Mind

I was so hyped when I saw the controllers because I love the colors and the features with turbo and such but I was disappointed when I saw that it has no gyro controls. I could live without the rumble HD feature but gyro controls are a basic feature for me when I play with the Switch. Also they should add the wireless feature. That would make a real good alternative to the official controllers.

@UglyCasanova

Since the last update the controls got better. Before the update things didn't play so smooth but in my opinion it's definitely worth it.

I got it for my PC years back for just 2,50 € and didn't expect much. Now I easily got 1000 hours playtime.

When I found out it was available for the Switch I had to buy it and I loved it. I bought it for 27 € and that's a good price for the fun you will have in this game.

The new update let's the game shine in a new light and adds so much stuff and makes it so much better. I can't recommend this game enough for PC AND consoles.

Re: Random: Animal Crossing Players Spot Discord In The Latest Update

@Floki To be honest I know that there need many changes to be done to make things like voice, chatting and similar basic Online-Gaming to work.
But Nintendo is the worst in Online-Gaming features. Not that they just don't have as much but they have bad support for some things. In my opinion they really should work on this stuff as a priority. They don't necessarily need Discord but something similar so you don't feel like you're being treated like a kid playing on a kid's toy not allowed to speak to strangers.

The demographic is wide on Nintendo consoles. So there should be options for younger ones as well as adults.

Re: Stardew Valley's Creator Won't Release His New Game Until He's "Personally Satisfied That It's Very Fun And Compelling"

I'm really excited for Haunted Chocolatier because Stardew Valley was a big surprise for me. Usually I don't play RPGs a lot but this game is so much fun that I'm willing to buy Haunted Chocolatier on day one.

I'm impatient when it comes to things I want. So I'd love to play it as soon as possible but I think it's more important that Barone is happy with his game so that we can enjoy it as well. Also I really wish Haunted Chocolatier will have the same multiplayer / co-op possibilities as Stardew Valley on the Switch.

Re: Switch OLED Model Scores 2 Out Of 10 On Screen Durability Scratch Test

I'd always put a screen protector on the Switch. Whatever "protection" they put on it isn't supposed to be replaced regularly. And when you scratch the screen you'll probably have to send it in to get it officially repaired. On the other hand when your own screen protection gets scratched or damaged you just pick it off the screen and replace it.
