Sooooo 721 Pokemon. 721 x $12.99 = $9,365.79 PLUS sales tax (let's use California (yay)). $9,365.79 + 9% = $10,208.71. BUT WAIT! We demand shiny forms of all Pokemon. 721 x 2 = 1,442 Pokemon ... x $12.99 = $18,731.58 + 9% = $20,417.42....
Oh and also you will need shelves. Walmart has cheap and solid 23" inch ones for $18. Each one can nicely display 12 figures. So 721 and 1,442 divided by 12 is 60 or 120 shelves. 60 and 120 times $18 is $1,080 and $2,160. Plus sales tax is $1,177.20 and $2,354.40.
(yay free shipping)
Which brings the total to $11,385.91 for non-shiny wanting noobs or $22,771.82 for the real fans.
HOWEVER! Move to Delaware, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, or New Hampshire (no sales tax) AND get a job within an Amiibo retailer (discount, duh) and maybe, just maybe, you won't have to sell ALL of you and your family's major organs. But some...you'll definitely need to sell some.
