@Pichubby Being LGBTQ is not a choice, and the fact that we have not found a singular "gay gene" does not change that. People aren't necessarily gay because of genetics but because of other hormonal, developmental and environmental factors which exist beyond their control. Not being genetics does not equal a choice.
@Pichubby Mutations do not remove evolution. Random mutations occur in the DNA; most aren't helpful and lead to the organism dying before it is capable of passing on the mutated genes. However, helpful mutations (like a longer neck for a giraffe or better camouflage for an insect) help the organism to survive so that it may pass on the genes to more descendants. These in then survive longer and pass on their mutations to more until the mutation permeates most of the gene pool.
@Unca_Lz Nobody can force them to include such relationships, no; but we are perfectly within our rights to criticise them for failing to do so and not spending our money on it. People are also entirely allowed to voice support for Nintendo's decision (and people are equally allowed to criticise them for showing such support).

I would just like to note that the photo at the top of this article has convinced me to ship Miyamoto and Iwata.
