Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble (3DS eShop / Game Gear)

I have to say, as a kid who owned Game Gear as a my first system when Sonic Triple Trouble came out, this games main flaw, its relative ease, was a GODSEND for me at age 6.

Sonic 1 for Game Gear I rarely saw past the third zone.

Sonic 2 was so difficult and cryptic that I PLAYED FOR HOURS AND HOURS AND ONLY ONCE DID I MANAGE TO BEAT THE FIRST ZONE.

Keep in mind, this was BEFORE the internet and you could just look stuff up, and if your friend didn't have the game, you were totally on your own, plus I was six at the time.

In Triple Trouble I could actually even make it so the second to last world if I played carefully and was extra lucky. For a young kid the stages are reasonably challenging, and now as an adult playing this game for the first time since the 90's, I'm going for the Chaos Emeralds.

Having owned and loved both this and Super Mario Land 1 as a kid, I'd say over all, this probably has more going for it in 2012 that Mario Land does.

Re: Gearbox Wants As Much Wii U Power As Possible

Three words. Japanese garden demo.

Seeing as Wii U could handle that and render completely separate real time interactive instances of it simultaneously in real time in PROTOTYPE form a year back, I really dont feel I have anything to worry about in the graphics/power department.

Unless you want to render a real time AI operated digestive, nervous, and endocrine system inside all the birds and fish or something.

Re: Naughty Nokia Boasts About Nintendo Games On N900

Come on Nintendo! If you don't sue Nokia for this I'll be pissed, not because I get off on corporate litigation, but because after all the wannabe preteen game designers you sicked your lawyers on for just posting SCREENSHOTS of the shoddy fangames the were never going to complete or release anyway, you've GOT to go totally insane with rage when a major, mainstream company in real commercial competition with Nintendo's own handhelds actually promotes their product as being able to pirate Nintendo games that should be the bread and butter of the DSi's downloadable library
