I think what’s really special about the game is that when you reach the Happy Points, it becomes about more than just scoring points for the company. It’s about feeling like you are that little robot—trying to be there for the family during tough times. Whether it’s picking up things they like, cleaning up their trash, or simply having a cup of tea and listening to their problems, your presence becomes meaningful.
It’s both touching and wise how the game shows that just because something looks “childish,” it doesn’t mean it lacks depth. For example, Jenny may be a child, but she can still understand the tension between her parents. As Chibi-Robo, you're there to support her emotionally. And even when the game explores heavy themes—like divorce, gambling, death, a dysfunctional family, or even an addiction to honey with Sunshine—it does so with surprising maturity and with humor.
It's not that deep but I like how the game speaks more than just a robot who works as a maid.
In moments like those, simply being kind and willing to listen is more powerful than you might expect.
