@Sean161 where? Also, places restock lol. I'm meaning the problem in general, not just metroid, they may have plenty of stock, or scalpers may not see enough value to bother. It is still a problem with things like this, or shoes, for example. But seriously where can you pre order?
@SeaFishelle nobody has that big of a problem with people buying something and reselling it, the problem people have is they have those bots that buy up everything before anyone else even has a chance because bots are faster than people. That is the issue. Buying a few extra and reselling is fair game, but using bots to literally buy out the whole stock is not.
Retailers may be fine with it, but Sony and Microsoft aren't, for example. They sell consoles at a loss and make profit on software, so they can't be happy because they are losing money. Bots should be illegal.
Don't buy from scalpers guys! That is the only real way to stop them! Don't give your money to scum! Let them waste a lot of money until they are forced to sell closer to msrp at least
@Sean161 it wouldn't if websites would enforce their own terms of service. Scalpers are trash people that make it their job to ruin the fun of others by snatching up products with bots before anyone else has a chance, those bots should definitely be illegal
@Sean161 @Sean161 what you said doesn't apply to this kind of scalping. People waiting isn't the issue, it's that scalpers use bots and can buy the stock before a lot of people even have a chance to finish their pre-order. Trying to buy something months after the fact is different from a bot that can buy out the whole stock in seconds. They are cheating the system and in a lot of cases breaking terms of service and they need to be stopped.
