If the switch OLED was instead a switch pro or switch X, I would have bought it. However, now that there's the steam deck and other portable PC handhelds I think Nintendo will have to do something innovative and not just a spec bump.
Seems like they realize this, which is a good sign. I'm pretty excited to see what they come up with, personally I'm at a loss.
There are 2 things needed to make this work properly: Apt-x Low Latency support to eliminate lag and a separate bluetooth adapter/antenna for simultaneous connection (controller+headset). The latter hardware is hopefully part of the Switch Pro design

Gavin hit the nail on the head. Digital needs to be available while the copyright ©️ is still in force. Under current laws that means about 120 years (depending on your local government).
