Re: Review: Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition (Switch 2) - A Solid Port With Plenty Of Extra Content, And Bugs

I've played F0:4 on PS after they updated the difficulty with 'Survival Mode'. You need to eat and drink and you succumb to diseases at times. You can't manually save, so you really have to put effort into your actions when you get to and come from, a mission between resting. I've put over a thousand hours into playing it. I was excited to see it released on the Switch 2 but ultimately crushed when I discovered that there's a bug built in that corrupts your saves if you allow auto saves. Therefore: You can't play Survival mode. I've spent ~$92 on the game and Nintendo won't refund it. This. Really. BLOWS. EDIT: Sorry, I should have mentioned: I've played it for just under 7 hours and after running a tough mission and saving it, I came to discover that the save and the one before it, are now corrupt. So not only can I lose my data after a hard go, I can lose the save before that as well. One step forward - Two steps back. Sure I could play on a wimpy mode, but it's not the same game.
