Labo's biggest flaw that prevented its success was Nintendo's failure to cultivate a thriving creative community around it. With an extremely bland coding interface (compared to the rest of the software) as well as a lack of tutorials, they had already failed to excite players to invent their own playthings from the get-go, but the most fatal flaw was the absence of any way for players to share their creations. Game Builder Garage remedies most of these issues but unfortunately loses the value of creating tangible playthings in the process, which in my opinion, was the most important part.
