If you are short on money and want to get the most out of it, then buy a game, play it and resell it. But during Switch 1 you bought a complete game or you bought a code in a box. With Switch 2 you buy a complete game (outside nintendo very rare), a gamekey card or a code in a box. I completely understand you and yes for your use case gamekey cards are an improvement over code in a box. And after the initial reveal of the Switch 2 i thought: ok, I stick to buy the proper physical releases, but the reality is publishers prefer the gamekey releases...
