I understand that Mila and the crew are attempting to reassure the fans this is gonna be a Monster Hunter movie through and through and not some military action flick but if the stigma stays true it's gonna suck. Honstley, I hope I'm wrong but the track record doesn't raise anyone's hopes. Now I hope I don't come across as some "Video Game Elitist" but they have almost 15 years of Monster Hunter History to use and they're just showing us a slinger from the most recent game? I get it's Capcoms breakthrough to the American audience with a monster Hunter game but still I want more and better evidence it's worth my time as a fan of MonHun since the ps2 days. I guess I just need more evidence that this movie isn't just going to do the whole " Oh No! A portal to another world opened up and for some reason our military can't kill these monsters coming through, but these 3 special people who got training from the natives on the other side of the portal can with big ass swords!"
