Re: Nintendo's Lawsuit Against Palworld Is "A Clear Case Of Bullying", Says Analyst

You think Nintendo would actually make a game with guns that lets you eat Pokémon and use humans in it for slave labor? Copyright stifles creativity because Intellectual Property has never actually been property, It's Intellectual Privilege.

Because of IP law we don't have more Psi Ops games or more Legacy of Cane games or more C&C games or more Spore games and the list goes on. Copyright and patents do not belong in the entertainment industry period. The only argument for it is it's own existence because it gate keeps content. Not only all this but the cherry on top is that if you back up and look at it from the copyright perspective itself, Nintendo only has grounds for filing patent law suits and if they win then the gaming industry will suffer for it not just pocket pair.

This would continue to set a dangerous precedent that features used in one game cannot be used in another if that other game is by a different company unable to pay fees.

Imagine if everyone had to pay a fee to the person who came up with the wasd Movement system. This is unreasonable and you know it.
