The Switch 2 won't do anywhere near as good as the S1. At the price they are charging for the console in the UK, a PS5 will be a better sell. The cost of games outs it right up there and beyond PS5 prices too. This system will flop. Nintendo has lost what Nintendo was..... different and fun. Now it just mirroring PS5 and Xbox one with so many 3rd party cinematic games....just not doing it as well and a generation in tech behind
I think Switch 2 makes sense it prevents any confusion and should build upon the Switch popularity. I don't think the numbering is here to stay though. I believe the gaming landscape will be different somehow in the next 5 to 7 years so I imagine a totally new concept from Nintendo for the next console. Excited to see what S2 brings. An updated sensor bar in so e form I imagine would be a good option for the mystery button on the switch
What would be interesting is if SEGA had another crack at a console. The industry is so dull now, games similar and all about visuals than pure fun with only Nintendo staying true to that. Shake Sony and Microsoft up with another fun gaming company
