This is Nintendo's fault. Had scarlet and violet been better games Palworld would have gone under the radar like many other indie games before it. You have to admit that, at some point, Pokémon needed those game mechanics. Every Nintendo franchise was allowed to evolve, whereas Pokémon was and is still the same turn based rpg.
