Would be nice if everyone stopped crying about graphics. I'm really just hoping Nintendo pulls their head out and gives us a sequel to all the major titles they have released over the years. I'm getting sick of wondering if specific games will get over looked once again. Almost every Nintendo IP has a following/fan base and they continue to ignore. Any decent 3rd party game is welcome, but we should all know not to expect much. Nintendo fans dont deserve lousy ports but that's all we typically get. It's a double edged sword. Developers don't want to put maximum effort for minimal sales and consumers don't want to pay premium prices for minimal effort. Developers feel they are the ones taking the risk releasing on switch. All I know is that Nintendo better deliver on their IP or Switch will be my last broken dream.
Konami will be doing even better after taking advantage of the barren day one switch lineup. I think Bomberman will be the number 2 title after BOTW of course. $50.00 US for this fun little game makes me feel slighted. They are lucky it's slim pickings.
I'm all for playing indie titles. I really hope most of them will eventually see a retail release on switch. My new 256GB SDXC looks scared and it hasn't even been opened yet.
The VR unit could easily have supplemental hardware. I only see Nintendo making smaller yet addictive titles that have basic visuals coupled with fun controls. A recipe for short burst gaming. I'm in if priced reasonably.
This game looks fantastic. 15 levels should be ok if going by what has been shown. Each area appears to have plenty to collect and explore. The crazy snake controls seem to be the main attraction.
The switch will be powerful enough to provide rich gaming experiences. Nintendo IP are always masterful. I will be looking forward to 3rd party exclusives as opposed to ports. Unreal 4 should make this feasible. Unique games like Snake Pass are welcome even if ported down from the 4Kish power twins.
This game is how I justified my Switch purchase with the warden (My wife). She is still upset about the Wii U. I will enjoy playing this with my kids. Here's hoping that there are many more local multiplayer games to come.
I believe Nintendo is playing their 3rd party hand in a smarter way this time around. They have a lot to prove to AAA development studios. AAA games have not sold well on Nintendo platforms in the past. The longer Nintendo holds off on releasing these games the larger the Switch install base will be. This will only increase the chance of sales.
The first year of Switch sales will be good with or without 3rd parties. It will mostly be Nintendo fans buying the console for the first 6 months. We all know what type of game these fans will buy at launch "Myself Included".
Nintendo could have had lousy ports for the launch of the switch. Why repeat the Wii U debut? I see the lack of these games as a good sign. Hopefully everyone will consider buying larger 3rd party games later this year when they surface.

Re: Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Studio Factor 5 Is Apparently Back From The Dead
Rogue Squadron was so bad ass! Hope we don't get let down. I am also entertaining the idea of Starfox by Factor 5. Might be what the IP needs.

This is nothing more than a novelty. About as deep as collecting a sticker or stamp. Look at it once and done I say.

Re: Best Buy and GameStop Offering Switch Pro Controller Pre-Orders in the US
@Vegaphil Thanks! This controller seems awesome. Worth the price considering all the functionality.

Still need to pick one of these babies up. Do they have HD rumble?

Only game I'm interested in other than Zelda for day 1.
Re: Nintendo Releases Updated Nintendo Switch Trailers
Hopefully the ads will continue throughout the life of Switch. Will be much more interesting when future games hit.
