Fair enough, the Game Boy version got five stars out of ten as well. I think Dr. Mario is a brilliant game that is also quite addicting, but I understand that Dr. Luigi is a better deal in the end.
It's nice to see some screens from the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. I'm also wondering if they will eventually change the name into something a bit more... deep.
This game looks great, but unfortunately I do not own Wii U. It would be nice to see Tropical Freeze 3D, but I think 3DS-version wouldn't be clever (or maybe even possible) move from Nintendo.
Cool. Hopefully Deluxe -content will be released soon as an update for 3DS-version of the Mutant Mudds. Renegade Kid confirmed that the update is coming out in the first half of the year, but I would like to have more information about the release.
Hmm... what to expect from this? I don't know any probable games to be announced, so this Direct may just tell us more information about previously announced titles. I would like to have for example Golden Sun 3D, Dr. Mario 3D, Kid Icarus U etc, but thinking about those games being announced is REALLY wishful thinking.
@Superryanworld It would be challenging. Circle Pad Pro has another Circle Pad, but also ZL- and ZR -buttons, so it wouldn't be easy to create a slim CPP. Same goes for new 3DS -models that could potentially include second Circle Pad: in order to make these models work with games that utilise Circle Pad Pro, the models would need to have ZL- and ZR-buttons.
I can't imagine a portable system that would have L-, R-, ZL- and ZR-buttons. Nintendo makes relatively slim and good looking portables, so I think 3DS Lite with another Circle Pad integrated in it will not be released.
I like the idea of the new '3D Stylus'. The only problem is... well, to be honest, I don't think it would work. I think 3DS's cameras aren't good enough for this to work well.
It's a clever concept, but I'm not sure if it would work properly. This sort of gadget would most definitely be only an accessory, so it wouldn't maybe get enough support from developers.
@unrandomsam That may be true, but third-party games aren't exactly longer than Nintendo's first-party titles. Because average gamers don't get dozens of games in a month, I think it's safe to say that many gamers get only few, high quality games in a month and play them until these games are finished.
Nintendo's games can take easily around 30-40 hours to complete, so I think I could keep myself busy by playing only Nintendo's first-party titles. That said, I do like third-party games because they offer variety.
Well, thankfully Nintendo understands the situation (more or less) and is trying to make Wii U survive through some big first-party titles that are coming out this year. Wii U needs support from third-parties, but Nintendo has proven in recent years that it can survive quite well with focus on great first-party titles. For example, 3DS is doing fine with mediocre third-party support.

Re: Pure Chess Will Checkmate Your Wii U And 3DS Very Soon Indeed
I'm looking forward to this. I have always liked chess, but I rarely have an opportunity to play it.

Re: The 3DS Celebrates Its Third Birthday in Japan
@Frank90 Hopefully more. I think 3DS could easily stay healthy for at least 7 years in total.

Well, this is a great start!
