Re: Review: Fast Fusion (Switch 2) - The Most Accomplished Entry Yet, And A Visual Showcase

@Alcea there is nothing wrong in pointing out flaws. It does have a primary need for a racer, the 60fps but it is clearly bugged with the overall look of it and isn’t anything close to true 4k or properly upscale 4k. It’s as if it’s 1080 on a 4k screen (I checked my settings).

More than any of that, the review misleads by boasting of the graphics. I took a peek at Reddit, the blurry visuals are getting talked up there as well so it’s not a one-off here.

@Supervideoman22 yeah. Felt it was misleading to not mention it as well. I loaded up rmx on it, it was sharper in resolution albeit lacking proper AA. It’s as if there is an upscaling bug here on fusion. You get used to it over time but I do hope they improve the blur issue.
In playing rmx for a small bit, I didn’t really feel I was playing much of an upgraded game in fusion. It is a 15$ game though so I’m keeping it in perspective. It’s not AAA title nor was it intended to be.

I’ll echo what Mario said in the comments. This game is fairly blurry. I’m not sure where the stellar graphics part of the review is coming from. Honesty, looked blurry in in handheld too.

I’ll admit I didn’t do much docked gaming on switch 1. My perception of the switch 2 improvements might be jaded. But that said, Mario kart looked pristine for the most part, it was sharp. But with fusion, on a 4k screen, the blur is pretty noticeable. It’s blurry, pixelated and at times even washed out. The mechanics of the game are solid.
