Thanks for the feedback, DreamyViridi! There have been more people playing it over the last few days, and the clear rate has gone up to over 20%, which is a very decent clear rate for MM. I think that shows that the level is creating the experience I intended - non-linear, a tad confusing in the beginning, but eminently do-able once you go the right way. I think I'm pretty happy with the way that people have been playing it so far, so I'm gonna leave it the way it is! Thanks again.
Not bad for a first level. It felt a bit cramped, however, so I'd recommend paying more attention to use of space. Starred nevertheless. Have fun with your new Wii U. If you'd like to return the favour, you can check out my levels and leave some feedback. I'd appreciate it a lot. https://www.nintendolife.com/super-mario-maker/users/Hanakane
You're right - it was confusing! Ran out of time the first try, but quickly figured it out on the second attempt and beat it. I liked it a lot. If you like Zelda, check out my remake of the Water Temple from OoT. I'd love some feedback!
@Mustaviini Thanks a lot for the candid feedback, I really appreciate it. I wanted to mimic the non-linearity of the original dungeon, while still guiding the player through the level without it being too confusing. If I failed at achieving that, I'll take a look at it to see what I can change. Thanks again!
Brilliantly executed! I'd love a part 2 as well. Starred and commented on. Check out my latest two-part series, "Who Took the Loot?" and "Who Took the Plunder?" I'd love some feedback from you!
Very cool design, must've taken you ages! If you like that kind of aesthetic, I made a Kirby Green Greens remake. Check it out if you're a Kirby fan ID 557E-0000-0069-1BF4
