@JimNorman What a serious mistake it is to award this game a score of 6. You should be able to distinguish between evaluating an expansion and reviewing the base game itself, because it gives the impression that you are rating this title far below what it truly deserves.
If you genuinely believe the expansion adds nothing of value or innovation, then the appropriate course would be to maintain the original score—not to reduce it so drastically simply because the expansion did not appeal to you. You may keep the original rating and explain that you chose not to increase it, as you do not consider the expansion to enhance the existing experience. However, what you have done here feels like a disproportionate penalty. Please consider the effort, dedication, and craftsmanship of everyone involved in creating this game—for goodness’ sake, take a moment to reflect.
