Re: Talking Point: How's Your Switch Holding Up After 5 Years?

Frankyjpr

My Day 1 Switch is still working and looking like the first day i got it. I had the joy-con drift problem, which was fixed right away and pretty quick, i might add. Ive used mine both handheld and docked i'd say about 50/50 both ways. I have taken it on long trips with me and even to the mountains and still in great shape. I can understand people still having issues with their joy-cons and software but i do not understand some of the comments ive read about cracks and missing parts and this is all from "normal use, wear and tear". The Switch is so amazing but at the same time a little fragile. I think some people need to just take better care of it !

@StefanN I went thru 6 different Ps4 controllers with the drift issue and 2 of my friends went thru the same thing. Out of my 4 Joy Cons I've only had to fix one of them and Nintendo was super fast at getting it fixed. I'm not saying Joy cons are perfect but if PS4 controllers are just an exception then me and my friends must have really bad luck. The problem is fixed for now tho I switch to Xbox lol
