I bougth this game last week and I had a blast trying my best to control the car. The difficulty slope is really well thougth and you always get rewarded for trying something new. It's a simple game well executed and aesthetically pleasing. Given the current discount I can only recommend it to everyone!
Dear all, this is the very first message on NintendoLife, even if I'm reading it daily ssince a very long time. The rather mislideading info on controls given by the reviewer, in my opinion, made it easy to decide to write this message.
I was really interested about this game for quite a long time, and all in all this review helped me to decide to buy it on its release. Overall I'm really happy about it. The only thing bugging me was the controls: the dead zone on the stick is pretty big, and sometimes I had the feelig the steering was way too binary (either straight or 100% right/left). I remembered the word used to describe the motion controls (rubbish) and so I thougth I should stick to the stick (no pun intended). What a great surprise it is to switch to the motion controls (I'm on a Pro Controller) and feel the precise response of the car! I've been playing Splatton2 a lot lately and perhaps I'm used to this sort motion inputs. I can only recommend to all of you longing for a switch with a steering wheel to give a try to the motion controls.
