So me and a friend was discussing this recently as he was looking at them, but I suggested it might be worth just buying physical where possible. Paying the extra for physical, with chance of later trade it, makes more financial sense (I think).
Pay more for the game, opposed to buying multiple (at time expansive sd cards). In maybe 8 games or so? You'd fill 256gb, so need another, or go big or go home (1tb). Is the additional cost of 8 games more than a 256 card/is there much in it?
I think the pricing will just make me double down on physical and not go the sd card route.
I guess my issue with these game key's, is similar to why I don't buy digital (unless there's no physical release) on consoles, in that we've seen from experience, that once a new console comes out, you can't bank on playing older games on newer hardware/them being supported. Also, having it all on the cart, you never run the risk of the download being made unavailable.
PC's though I'm all in for digital now, as even if Steam retires a game (like I own some that you can't buy anymore), you can still download them.
