There's lots to dive into with the new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including TM crafting, the new Farigiraf evolution, and heaps more, but one thing that's tucked away in the in-game mini-map is a bunch of new species that you may have missed.
As spotted by @PLDHnet over on Twitter, we get a peek at three new species of Pokémon (and a Rookidee, bless it), including what looks like a weird little mushroom / house, an all-white mouse thingy, and a green parakeet.
What could they be?! Who knows. Hopefully, The Pokémon Company will see fit to let us discover these new species for ourselves when the game launches on November 18th.

It's possible that these are not actually species of Pokémon, but "indicators" of what body type they have.
Or, they actually are new Pokémon! They look neat.
@RupeeClock I was thinking they were indicators as well but I think they actually are new Pokémon given that there’s a Rookidee from SwSh on the radar as well.
The bottom right one looks like a Super Mario power-up of some sort. Which doesn't preclude it also being a cool Pokémon, of course.

It's entirely possible that Rookidee is displayed with its actual appearance, because it has been discovered.
Though, I concede that it's probably likely that undiscovered Pokémon would be silhouettes, not "body type references".
Nothing that goes into a trailer goes unnoticed these days, this is a tactic to get people talking on social media after all.
The one on the bottom right looks like... Dirt wrapped around a cinderblock? A construction debris pokemon? Maybe a ghost/ground or ghost/steel type, possessing parts of dilapidated or unfinished buildings or something? I work in construction so I'd love a pokemon like that. Conkeldurr would get along with it.
Those designs are way too specific to be mere body types.

So we got a house mixed with a mario mushroom and possibly a parrot or budgie. Absolute 10/10 design I love this game already.

The first screenshot makes it look like the windmill is a titan Pokemon called Artazon and has a huge screen-wide HP bar. ^^;
That parrot looks like if Lupin III was a bird.
I like these guys so far though. One is a sassy parrot with a pompadour, another is a mouse with nothing behind it's eyes and the last one both looks like the Rock Shroom from Mario and also reminds me a lot of Golett. Maybe another Wiglett situation? Who knows.
@RupeeClock They are new Pokemon.
We need more information on the Mario power up Pokémon.
@RupeeClock I don't see why that would be the case, each pokemon already has a unique sprite as part of the team menu. It would be a waste not to use them for the mini map as well.
