During Star Wars Celebration last week, publisher and developer Aspyr announced it would be releasing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch in June.
It'll be arriving next week on June 8th, and ahead of the release, the game's file size has also been shared. According to a listing on Nintendo's official website, it'll be 15.7GB in size. The official Switch eShop listing says it will require 15.8GB of space. Meanwhile, the UK listing suggests it'll be just over 16GB in size.
So, it'll likely be closer to 16GB in size all up. The original Knights of the Old Republic was just 12GB on Switch.
Apart from the second game, Aspyr is also releasing a special bundle pack - containing the first and second game for $29.99 USD or your regional equivalent. And in case you missed it, the second game will also include The Sith Lords Restored Content DLC. Here's a bit about it from the PR:
"Expand your experience even further with this incredible collection of content featuring new crew dialogue and interactions, a bonus mission starring HK-47, and a new revamped ending, coming as free DLC post-launch."
Will you be adding this game to your Nintendo Switch library when it's released next week? Tell us below.

I'll be waiting to see if Limited Run Games does a physical release.
Cough up the 32GB carts, yer cheapskates.
You can’t tell me with a straight face that 32GB carts are prohibitively expensive over 5 years after the launch of the Switch, especially when other publishers have routinely released budget titles on 16GB carts.
@Silly_G from what I remember the problem is also how much Nintendo wants for the cartridge.
Because by normal standards, after so many years they should be much more cheaper.
Another even bigger issue are the other 90% of the people that don’t care and buy digital, I prefer physical games myself but most people nowdays don’t care as much about that.
That last thing keeps giving these companies a excuse sadly…
That's big but doesn't deter thanks to the trusty 1TB micro SD.
16gb seems large for such an old ugly game. Especially since the android version says 4gb and they're both equally ugly.
@Rayquaza2510 Yep I'll go digital with waaayyy better sale prices any day. Not a big deal to archive a game to make room.
@LEGEND_MARIOID
I would agree, but I filled my terabyte micro SD up, recently. . .

Still hoping for a physical bundle with KOTOR 1 & 2. 🤞
@SteamEngenius I fully agree on the sales part, sales on Nintendo systems in the past did suck but the Switch changed that.
I have a 512GB memory card for a reason, but some games like good JRPGs, VNs or Nintendo titles I prefer to have physically.
But a game like Xcom 2 I got digitally, not only because it was like 90% off a while ago, but also because I don't need that game physically anyhow (aside from the fact it is not fully ont he cartridge)
@Kiwi_Unlimited Same problem, and I even try to go physical edition when I can.
To be fair, minus the updates, SSBU hit 16gb.
@Kiwi_Unlimited Admittedly, i have had to still use the archive feature!
Hopefully the special bundle pack became a physical release.
