The third entry in Nippon Ichi's Yomawari series is coming West! NIS America has today announced that Yomawari: Lost in the Dark (called Yomawari 3 in Japan) will be launching on Switch later this year! This comes over three years since the first two games came to the console in the Yomawari: The Long Night Collection package.
We know very little about the upcoming atmospheric horror game, but fans will know not to let the soft music or chibi-style visuals fool them.
NISA Europe had this to share with us in its press release for the game:
Another chapter of the atmospheric horror series from Nippon Ichi Software has emerged from the shadows with a new story set in a frighteningly familiar world!
To break a curse placed upon her, a young girl must venture into the haunted streets of her town at night to search for her lost memories while evading the twisted spirits that lurk in the darkness.
The young girl only has a single night to chase someone from her past and look for her lost memories. Armed only with a torch, she'll have to flee from some horrific-looking crab creatures and other twisted spirits.
You can pre-order a physical copy of the game — including a Deluxe Edition — over on NISA Europe's store right here.
Are you a fan of the first two Yomowari games? Will you be grabbing the third entry in the series? Let us know in the comments.

I'm already worried about what the tutorial will do to me this time.
The first two games are mandatory experiences if you enjoy horror games.
I love the first 2 games. I have them for Switch & Vita. Give me a physical release here in the states, and I'll buy a copy day 1! If not, I'll most likely import...
@Diogmites so we don’t need to play the first two games?
