Nintendo UK has shared its monthly eShop highlights video, and there's a lovely and varied selection on offer this time. April proved to be a pretty packed month on the eShop, so picking out a few key releases for last month can't have been easy.
This time around, we've got a couple of RPGs — one of the classic variety, and another of the action cartoon type — a deck-based roguelike, a 'bug' collecting game, and an adventure all about 427's first day at the office, among others

I bought the Stanley parable. I didn't know what to expect going into it from all the vague reviews that were singing its praises. I just wasn't really feeling it. And the "new content" was a pretty bad time waster. The original content was okay but the new content kind of soured my taste of the game.
no poll? I haven't played any of these, though I did play 2 games (arise and demon turf 2) from the NintendoLife selects choices. Those were both fun games which were also very cheap on release so I didn't bother waiting for better sales.
@FishyS That's a good question! I've gone ahead and added one.
Too many good games. I’m getting burned out a bit tbh.
I’ve bought Stanley though after seeing Alex’ review. And Chrono Cross will soon arrive in physical form. Ordered it via Play-Asia.
I’ve sunk about 20 hours into Roguebook so far—I bought the deluxe edition and I’m enjoying discovery new items, events and cards every play-through. I’d say it’s easier than Slay the Spire to make progress and as complex (in a good way) as Monster Train. It’s an addictive game to say the least——the only downside is that this port hasn’t been well-optimized for the switch(no touch), and game play can get laggy.
Picked up Gotta Protectors: Cart of Darkness. So far it is a very weird and fun game but it's definitely something you're gonna want to play with friends over going solo.
Toodee and Topdee was the winner for me. It really should be getting more attention.
Nobody Saves The World is such a superb game!
