This past week Capcom has been releasing video demonstrations for the many weapons of Monster Hunter Rise, with a focus on new Switch Skills that'll be introduced with the Sunbreak expansion. Another three videos have now landed to showcase more smart moves.
This time around we have the Bow, Charge Blade and Gunlance, all very useful in the right hands. The Bow in particular wins a lot of style points in terms of the moveset and some of the hunter animations - if you're going to take down monsters from a distance, you may as well do it with extra flair.
Check them out below.
Bow
Charge Blade
Gunlance
Some interesting new moves on the way - the Sunbreak expansion will launch on 30th June.

They FINALLLY give the Bow a way of cutting tails. Thank you, Capcom.
Everything looks so good, and that Skill Swap Evade will probably be very necessary for endgame Master Rank. Skill Swap is one of the best ideas in a long while to give the player more combo options in a single hunt!
I'm excited most for the Switch Axe, they gave it a nice counter.
YES!! DAT BOW-WORK! That's what I'M talkin' about!
Oh wow...bow gets a severing move for tails??? SO SWEET! It looks like it will take work to make use of it, but...that Butcher's Bind switch swap to Aerial Aim is just nuts! I cannot WAIT to try and pull that off myself. SO...MUCH...BOW...DAMAGE!!!!
Actually Bow in Rise is already incredibly good at cutting tails, I do it a lot and it's fun too. It's harder in Hub quests, 'cos of the extra health, but still doable, especially if you have a bit of the Partbreaker skill.
