Have you ever wondered what Mass Effect would look like if it was transformed into an Advance Wars-style game? YouTube channel 64 Bits has uploaded its own 'demake' of a Mass Effect Advance Wars-inspired game, which is part of a larger series of demakes.
It's officially titled "Advance Effect: Legendary Edition" and well, it looks great! Although the Mass Effect series hasn't had much to do with Nintendo platforms over the years, BioWare did have plans at one stage to release a first-person DS game based on the series. Mass Effect 3 was also eventually released on the Wii U.
As for Advance Wars, the latest entry for Switch combining the first two games was recently delayed. Hopefully, we'll get an update regarding a release date soon. I would buy this day one if it's legit. It's too bad EA won't want the dollars.
This is incredibly well done!
In some ways, the Lego games proved that demakes could work with the masses, so I'd be all in for doing actually real ones. Of course that only works with certain franchises, but most new big IPs that didn't come out of the 1990ies and also are quite fine in terms of gameplay should be a good fit. For instance an Horizon Zero Dawn sidescrolling action-metroidvania. Or splatoon.
@Specter_of-the_OLED : I think this would be more of a matter of Nintendo not wanting to collaborate with the likes of EA.
Pure gameplay, pure fun! Great effort! I wish it was real and we could buy it.
Awesome, great concept, great art. Shame this IP belongs to EA, as I would even help developing this into reality.

On the same wavelength, Mass Effect and the GBA Pokemon games are more similar than you'd think: do you want to pick red, blue or green?

Looks so awesome!! Would easily buy. Coincidentally I just finished part 1 remaster a week ago. Moved on to KOTOR though instead of 2 for now 😂🤣🤷♂️🤷♂️

@Dinizz_2d Ashley has good development and growth over the three games, and Kaiden is just whiny as always. She is quite ungrateful in Mass Effect 2 though.
@CaptainCluck i don't like her racist view of the other crew members and aliens in general. Never saved her, so never saw her development, but in 1 she is a pretty annoying character, in my view, of course.
