LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga released earlier this month and encompasses all nine mainline movies in the 'Skywalker' timeline: the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and... those other ones. Anyway, we rather liked the game and gave it a lovely 9/10 in our review, which you should absolutely read!

- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Review
We all know LEGO games like to take certain liberties with source material, whether it's Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, or other popular IP. The focus on humour above all else is paramount to LEGO's core identity, but in a comparison video shared online, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga actually looks remarkably similar to the original movies.
You can check out the comparison in the video above; just be mindful of spoilers for both the movies and the game. Be sure to mute the video, too; we're not sure why, but the uploader decided on some oddly sad music to accompany the comparison and it's a weird choice, to be sure.
What do you think of the scene comparison? Have you played through LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga yet? Let us know.

Something that impressed me wasn't just the set recreations, it was that they nailed the ambient lighting.
Well duh it's supposed to look like the movies
Hmm, I don't know. Looks plastic to me. =)
Well I never, yeh, your right it does look similar However, it does look hand built to me and a bit blocky compared to the films.
Well I should hope so. The skywalker saga is a series of movies. Like duh!
Have been playing this with my 5 Y/O son and we've been having a great time.
We started with Phantom Menace and been collecting as many Blue blocks as possible. We've not long finished the pod racing section.
Looking forward to getting to the original trilogy but we are taking our time and not rushing through it
Ah yes, I do love pointing out the obvious. Still looks fantastic though.
I laughed at one of the first gags, but stopped the video. I don’t have the game yet and don’t want to spoil other gags. 😂
Was going for 100 per cent got to around 50 ish after absolutely caning it. I’m stuck on a mission on exogal to find a plaque got 9 out of 10. Spent the last hour trying to find the last one, in the search area but can’t find it any bloody where! Xxx
I STILL don't get how Darth Vader became a force ghost as young Anakin.
@GrailUK
It's something about how he took the form of a force ghost in the image of how he was before he fell to the dark side. I'm not even sure if sith can become force ghosts. I've never heard of one.
@Truegamer79 Yet Obi Wan only found out how to do it after Episode 3. It's all confusing to me lol (and I confuse easily!)
About as surprising as the moment I stepped outside this morning to find that the sky was blue.
@GrailUK,
It was changed, in the original Return of the Jedi movie, Anakin is the older version, before he was seduced by the dark side, and became Darth Vader.
@johnvboy See that makes more sense.
@GrailUK,
Lucas changed things in the original movies, so the prequels would make more sense, in the original Star Wars Movie Jabba the hut was a man.
@johnvboy Han shot first.
@GrailUK,
Who knows anymore, with all these revisions I am confused.
