Our most recent Nintendo Life Indie Spotlight had a broad scope of game types, very much reflecting the varied delights that we get to enjoy on Nintendo Switch. One example was Auroch Digital's Brewmaster, with the subtitle 'Beer Brewing Simulator' rather neatly summarising its appeal.
Home brewing and microbrewers are a beloved part of the craft beer scene, and this game taps into that as you learn the skills to make varied and tasty beers. Even if you're not legally old enough to drink it, you can learn about how to make it, at least.

Below are some official details to give you a taste of what to expect, including a story-led experience and a lot of flexibility in how you play.
From perfecting authentic, chemistry-driven brewing techniques to naming, bottling and labelling - refine your craft to become the ultimate Brewmaster in the first ever realistic beer brewing experience. With all the tricks of the trade and the best equipment at your disposal, follow a recipe, or experiment with a huge variety of real-world ingredients to hone your skills. Enter friendly competitions, earn beer tokens, and upgrade your equipment to become an even better brewer.
Choose to experience the story-led Brewmaster mode or throw yourself into Creative Mode, a sandbox with everything unlocked.
We're rather looking forward to creating some beers on Switch; it's due to launch this year.

My first reaction was that this looked boring. But as an educational tool for aspiring brewers it might actually be a fun way to learn.
@Rambler it's a joke about the legal drinking age being 21
Brew-iant! Might be fun for a couple of coins
If you can apply the game recipes in real life that would be a great piece of "edutainment"
They could have yeast put in some beer related DLC.
Well as a previous alcoholic, I think this is a safe pass from me. 😔
I want one for cocktails!
It looks like it would be a cool (and cheap) way to learn about the process, but every session would end in disappointment. "Wow, this one looks delicious! Oh..."
@Rambler I live in CA! The "show ID no matter your age" isn't as strict as other states (see Hawaii, Tennessee, etc.) from what I've noticed. But it depends on what part of CA you live in I suppose; this state is basically two states in one.
